CIA OP
Robert Baer- 21 year CIA Operative,
The only person Saddam was a threat to was to the people of Iraq. He didn't have weapons of mass destruction....he wasn't scaring anybody....he certainly wasn't scaring the Iranians, The Turks or the Saudi's....It was a state that was on the verge of failure,...now...it is a failed state.
Failed states cause terrorism....you can name them,...Afghanistan, Lebanon, Somalia...anytime you create a vacum...it is where people flock to, who are discontented....to fight wars....

Personally, I don't think it matters at this stage in the game "who" is or is not president of the USA...WAR in IRAQ was inevitable..."Hellfire in the Holyland" is inevitable and is not over by any means...it's only just begun. But, if I must speak but two more words....
GO BUSH!!!!!!!!!
he ha ha ha ;~)
"WAR in IRAQ was inevitable..." Calls to mind that big war we had with the Soviet Union. uh, oh... nevermind.

I continue to be amazed at the changing rationale supporters of this war spew to justify this mess. It will be a tragic day for all of humanity when any war is declared inevitable, let alone one that will be remembered as the most catastrophic error of our great country's history. Quite frankly, I don't know how anyone who voted for these madmen in 2000 can sleep at night.
No matter, the end is near. The fallout the day after the VP debates with Cheney getting caught in 2 major lies was enough to ensure that momentum has full swung. You can see both sides know it, too, as Bush's stump speech was dramatically altered yesterday to some bizarre hybrid of stand-up comedy and attack and Kerry and Edwards just kept hitting the same themes.

While I'm not a Bush supporter, I DO hope he at least can muster a few intelligent (intelligible??) words this evening. I would hate to spend another hour or so with my face burried in a pillow...ashamed that the President of the U.S. comes off as such a useless boob for all the world to see.
Then again, if a modikem of intelligent display were to give him the slightest spike in the polls...I say, let his ignorance shine through. I can deal with the pillow marks. :)
As far as resurrecting skirt-chasing, blue blood JFK (or Jackie O--whose so-called grace seems more like she's had a labotomy)...to steal the Kerry slogan...WE CAN DO BETTER! Give me Herman Munster and the "shove it" ketsup queen any day.
Go Kerry!
by inevitable...I meant .."as it is written" as in "it's the way it's supposed to be "as in yes the end is near...frankly I don't think it could be avoided-afterall it happened and it's done. I'm not a supporter of war, I'm just along for the ride as we all are

As opposed to the other meaning of inevitable? Wow. I'm speechless.
"It will be a tragic day for all of humanity when any war is declared inevitable,"
Well, according to the good book, WAR is inevitable..and yes, That OTHER meaning of inevitable.
I'm not picking a fight, it's just my opinion and what was said seems a little contratictory that's all.
Happy voting you all may the best man win..for all of our sakes.
word.
